Valdosta Symphony Orchestra with Byron Stripling and Carmen Bradford
Byron Stripling has toured and recorded with Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman, Dave Brubeck, Lionel Hampton, Sonny Rollins, and Paquito D’Rivera
At the age of 22 years old, Carmen Bradford was discovered and hired by William "Count" Basie and was the featured vocalist in the legendary Count Basie Orchestra for nine years.

I will be presenting my first faculty solo recital at VSU in collaboration with Maila Springfield. The program will feature works by Fernande Decruck, Marilyn Shrude, Carolyn Borcherding, and Elsie Bae Han.

RE:duo will be premiering a new work by New York based composer reinier potgieter, paired with an improvisation at the 2024 North American Saxophone Alliance biennial conference held at Oklahoma State University.

Boston Conservatory New Music Festival: Guest Artist—RE:duo
RE: Duo features two alumni of Boston Conservatory’s contemporary classical music program: Wilson Poffenberger on saxophones and Elsie Bae Han on viola. Join them for a late-night concert of cutting-edge music.


RE:duo at the International Saxophone Symposium
RE:duo will present a recital at the 2024 International Saxophone Symposium hosted by the US Navy Band at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
Our program will include Coil,Recoil by Carolyn O’Brien, the world premiere version of seagrass/reed by Carrie Frey for saxophone and viola, and a free improvisation.
